GRANT ELIGIBILITY

Nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status

Align with the funding priorities of BACF: To support education, wellness and cultural vitality

Be located in or provide services in the 10-mile radius of Birmingham, MI.

Your organization does not need to be headquartered in this area, but the grant funds must be used within the radius.

BACF can also host endowment funds for any nonprofit, including schools and churches.
GRANT EVALUATION

Grant applications will be evaluated by our Grants Committee, comprised of trained community volunteers with area expertise.

They will conduct a thorough and impartial assessment of each application, based on the strength of the organization’s finances, leadership, and effectiveness of programs within the community.

One year after the award, a concise report will be due detailing how the grant was used and its impact on their organization.
